Biography

Martin Zimmermann and Dimitri de Perrot are Swiss. The former has studied at the Centre National du Cirque (National Circus School) in France, and the latter at the Gymnase artistique (Artistic Gymnasium) in Zurich, where they met. They created the following plays: Gopf in 1999, Hoi in 2001 and Janei in 2004 together with the collective MzdP, Anatomie Anomalie (Anatomy Abnormality) in 2005, with Zimmerman’s direction, and set design:, and de Perrot’s music, for the Anomalie Company. With their two names as title they founded a company in 2006, created Gaff Aff; then in 2008 Öper Öpis, presented in February 2009 at the Théâtre des Abbesses. Later they directed the Acrobatic Group of Tangiers, hence Chouf Ouchouf (Look, look again) at the 2010 Avignon Festival.
