As a teenager, Bérangère Jannelle already devoted herself to the theatre. In 2000, she began directing with The Decameron in Lorient, followed by Robinson, voyage au pays de nulle part [Robinson, Travels to Nowhere] avter Defoe, in Montreuil (2004), Sophocles’ Ajax in Forbach (2005), Pasolini’s Pylades (2006), Amor! ou les Cid de Corneille [Amor! or Corneille’s Cids](2007) and Offenbach’s La Périchole at the Opéra de Lille (2009), Amphitryon by Molière produced at the Abbesses in 2010.
