Biography
Having graduated from the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique [National Academy for Dramatic Art] where she later was to teach, Garcia-Fogel played with many directors, Mehmet Ulusoy her "mentor" among them. She began directing herself and was awarded the Prix de la critique [Critics' Award] for Trézène Mélodies in 1997. She became associate artist at the Théâtre de Sartrouville and produced notably The Merchant of Venice and a version of King Lear for children. In 2008 at the Théâtre des Abbesses, she took part in Christophe Rauck's.show L’Araignée de l’éternel [A Spider for Eternity] dedicated to poet-singer Claude Nougaro.
