After spending his childhood in his parents’ circus, James Thierrée studied drama and occasionally appeared in cinema productions. In 1998, he founded his Compagnie des Hannetons [The May Bugs’ Company] and since then La Symphonie du Hanneton [The May Bug’s Symphony], La Veillée des Abysses [The Wake near the Abyss] and Au revoir parapluie [Goodbye Umbrella] have been travelling the whole world.
