He created the Vanishing Point Company in 1999, and directed almost all of the company’s productions, notably The Beggar’s Opera, Subway and Little Otik, adapted from the movie by Czech director Jan Svankmajer. Furthermore, Lenton brought to the stage an adaptation of The Blind by Maeterlinck. He also works regularly with the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Finally, he has recently directed his first movie, Circle of Life, for British Television.
