Four voices for a concert from the heart and to the heart This Corsican ensemble brought together Maxime Merlandi, Jean-Pierre Marchetti, André Dominici and Jean-Philippe Guissani in the year 2000. The four of them sing a capella their island’s profane and sacred polyphonies. From the “lamenti d’amore” to the excerpts from the mass for the dead, the traditional song is closely linked to the great events of life and conveys universal feelings that eventually touch our hearts. The Barbara Furtuna group’s quest for vocal fusion and musical harmony reveals their faith in the unifying power of beauty. Quatre voix pour un concert à cœur ouvert Cet ensemble corse réunit depuis l’an 2000 Maxime Merlandi, Jean-Pierre Marchetti, André Dominici et Jean-Philippe Guissani qui interprètent a cappella les polyphonies profanes et sacrées de leur île.
