Après les succès de ses précédents récitals en 2006 la magicienne de la guitare Filomena Moretti revient enfin au Théâtre des Abbesses. S’étendant de la Renaissance au milieu du xxe siècle – en passant par les incontournables transcriptions de Bach – ses deux programmes totalement différents, constitués de pièces phares du répertoire, sonnent comme un appel à la découverte des possibilités infinies de l’instrument. De la finesse de la harpe à l’ampleur de l’orchestre symphonique, la guitariste sarde évoquera mille atmosphères, de la légèreté des entrelacs de Dowland à la douce nostalgie de Tarrega. At last Filomena Moretti, the magician of the guitar, is back at the Théâtre des Abbesses after her former successful recitals in 2006. She performs two quite different programmes stretching from the Renaissance to the middle of the 20th century - including Bach's major transcriptions. Both programmes are made of masterpieces from the repertoire and sound like an invitation to discover the infinite possibilities of the instrument. From the sensitiveness of the harp to the intensity of the symphony orchestra, the Sardinian guitarist will conjure up a thousand atmospheres ranging from the lightness of Dowland's traceries to Tarrega's sweet nostalgia.
