Pour prouver la place que tient toujours son instrument dans la vie musicale, le grand hautboïste François Leleux, avec le pianiste Emmanuel Strosser, propose à nouveau, pour son cinquième concert au Théâtre de la Ville, un programme très ouvert aux contemporains. Avec la séduisante sonate de Saint-Saëns et de fort romantiques pages de Schumann, figurent en effet une sonate de Dutilleux et le Duo concertant du chef et compositeur hongrois Antal Dorati, ainsi qu’une sonate de Thierry Pécou, personnalité majeure de la dernière génération de créateurs. For his fifth concert at the Théâtre de la Ville, François Leleux, the great oboist, demonstrates that his instrument is still of paramount importance in musical life. Thus, together with the pianist Emmanuel Strosser, he once more presents a programme widely open to contemporary composers. Indeed, along with Saint-Saëns’ appealing sonata and some of Schumann's highly romantic passages, they also play a sonata by Dutilleux and the Duo Concertante written by the Hungarian conductor and composer Antal Dorati, and last but not least a sonata by Thierry Pécou who is a major artist among the younger generation of creators.
