Nouveau temps fort dans la longue fidélité qui unit le Théâtre de la Ville et la Boston Camerata de Joël Cohen, avec, pour la première fois à Paris, ce Tristan et Iseult, dans le cadre intime du Théâtre des Abbesses. S’inspirant des légendes les plus anciennes relatant la mythique histoire d’un amour sublimé jusqu’à la mort Cohen donne une unité fascinante aux multiples éléments authentiques qu’il a retrouvés. Texte, instruments et chant se relaient pour nous entraîner au c?ur d’un Moyen Age mythique , coloré, émouvant dans sa pureté. Gérard Mannoni "Tristan and Isolde" performed for the first time in Paris, in the intimate setting of Théâtre des Abbesses, is another highlight in the course of the long-standing partnership uniting Théâtre de la Ville and the Boston Camerata directed by Joel Cohen. Drawing his inspiration from the oldest legends relating the mythical story of a sublimated love doomed to death, Joel Cohen creates a fascinating unity between all the genuine documents he has uncovered.
