The Clean and the Dirty


Between sustainable society and ecology of the phantasm.
The transition to a sustainable society is one of Vera Mantero’s fundamental concerns. Major figure on the Portuguese contemporary dance scene, she explores theses essential thematic issues through her productions. In “The Clean and the Dirty” she focuses on the Inner Transition in relation to what is done in performing arts: “If we want to modify our relationship to our environment and the way we take care of it, we need to modify our inner self”. Through this trio, she invites us to handle the Materials of the World: a true ecology of the phantasm, the movements, the vibrations…
