Coproduction Théâtre de la Ville-Paris - Festival d’Automne à Paris
In the frame of Saisons Afrique du Sud-France 2012-2013.

Founded in 1981 by Anwar Gambeno, the Cape Traditional Singers choir, who are the repositary of the traditional and carnival songs keep the “coloured ‘s“s culture alive and embody the spirit of Cape Town’s “Metis” districts. By bringing together the Fezeka Youth Choir, English teacher Phume Tsewu immerses his pupils from Cape Town’s disadvantaged districts into the repertoire of late XIXth-century South-African composers.
