Flamboyant, charming, lyrical, generous and sensitive: this is how the media have been describing the German/Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott. At 23 she can boast a wealth of international prizes and has already appeared in many prestigious venues and with outstanding partners. Her Deutsche Gramophon recording of Liszt’s Transcendental Studies is already a landmark. For her first concert at the Théâtre de la Ville, she will play two of those studies alongside pieces by Mozart, Chopin and Beethoven.
