Hers is a singular itinerary: Amandine Beyer, a radiant icon of the baroque violin, began her career playing a romantic repertoire on modern instruments while writing her dissertation on Stockhausen. Only then did she turn to studying with masters of the baroque an putting together ensembles with unusual names: L’Assemblée des honnestes curieux [The Covenant of the Honestly Curious], the Gli Incogniti [The Unknown], offred a memorable performance of at theThéâtre de la Ville. She is back, alone on this occasion, for a programme purely dedicated to Bach, with two partitas and one sonata.
