Xylographie - Sunshine - Black Box - One Flat Thing Reproduced

ALL-TERRAIN TALENT
FROM LUCY GUERIN TO WILLIAM FORSYTHE, PASSING BY EMANUEL GAT AND TÂNIA CARVALHO, A VERITABLE PANORAMA OF THE ART OF CHOREOGRAPHY

The Ballet de l’Opéra de Lyon, under the artistic direction of Yorgos Loukos, confirms itself as the undisputed repertoire company of France. Holder of a record number of pieces signed by the cream of the dance scene, from Jirí Kylián to Mats Ek, it holds a high-flying, all-terrain talent. Suffice it to say that the mixed programs, composed of different short pieces, give scope to these exceptional evenings. Veritable panoramas of the art of choreography, they collide style with mood by balancing tastes. On the menu for this new combination, the bold Australian Lucy Guerin and her Black Box, the flexible Israeli musician Emanuel Gat with Sunshine, the expressive Tânia Carvalho from Portugal with her creation Xylographie. And to finish, the final uppercut from William Forsythe with One Flat Thing, Reproduced, a guerrilla choreographed dance in the middle of metallic tables.
