THE ACE OF CHOIR


Founded in 1964 by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation the most famous Coro Gulbenkian is a choir whose number vary up to a hundred choristers.


They tour extensively on all continents to perform works ranging from the 16th century to the contemporary period. The Théâtre des Abbesses will host an “Enlightenment-focused” programme centered on Bach, Domenico Scarlatti  Portugues Francisco Antonio de Almeida with twenty-four choristers and six vocal and instrumenta soloists.
