FINE GOLD AND VELVET


François Leleux has made a habit of coming to the Théâtre de la Ville with renowned and unexpected  partners. A great international soloist, yet one who enjoys playing with other musicians, he will bring together his oboe’s soul-stirring sound with that of his beautiful Georgian wife’s Stradivarius; indeed, violinist Lisa Batiashvili came to the fore in the last few years. Violist Lawrence Power and cellist Sebastian Klinger will join them for a variegated programme: Mozart, Schnittke and Nicolas Bacri.
