Cédric Andrieux is a solo for the eponymous dancer Cédric Andrieux. In this piece he looks back on his career: his training in Brest to become a contemporary dancer, then at the Conservatoire national supérieur de la ville de Paris, followed by his work as a performer for Merce Cunningham in New York and recently at the Ballet de l’Opéra de Lyon. Cédric Andrieux belongs to a series which began in 2004 with the solo for Véronique Doisneau, dancer from the corps de ballet of the Opéra de Paris, and continued in 2005 with Isabel Torres, a ballerina from the Teatro Municipal of Rio de Janeiro, and finally Pichet Klunchun and myself, a duo created by choreographer and khôn* dancer Pichet Klunchun.
