CHIAROSCURO

An insatiable researcher and an inspired performer, Rolf Lislevand first played the classical guitar and then turned to ancient instruments. He actively worked in major institutions such as the Basel Schola Cantorum and played with prominent masters like Hopkinson Smith and Jordi Savall. A highly penetrating specialist in the rendering of ancient and baroque music, he will perform at the Théâtre des Abbesses French, Italian and Spanish pieces for theorbo and baroque guitar from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
