EVERYONE KNOWS YEAR SIX IS THE PITS
Year six is the absolute worst. Everyone knows that. The main character of J’ai trop peur certainly does and it’s ruining his summer vacation. To assuage his fears, his mother has the bright idea of introducing him to a 14-year-old neighbour. But instead of reassuring our hero, he tells him tall and terrifying tales. David Lescot takes wicked pleasure in this hyperbole delivered in teen lingo. Meanwhile, they are watched by the 2-year-old sister, who also has her very own way with words.
