JEHIEL QUIMFUMU WILL OPEN THE DAY WITH A PROGRAM FULL OF CONTRASTS, FROM CHOPIN TO RACHMANINOFF, SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES.

Jehiel Quimfumu opens Piano Day with a luminous and contrasting recital. Through works by Chopin, Debussy, Rachmaninov, Liszt, and Mozart, this young pianist promises a poetic journey through the repertoire, combining reverie and bursts of virtuosity.

Born in 1998 in Marseille to a family of Congolese origin, Jehiel began studying music at the conservatory in his hometown before continuing his training in Rueil-Malmaison. Inspired by his family's musical heritage and driven by a deep desire to pass on his knowledge, he gives a concert here that is accessible to children aged 7 and up, inviting the audience to enter into the magic of the piano.
