Inspired by painting, a choreographic fresco about the art of governing.
In 1338, in Siena, Ambrogio Lorenzetti’s magnificent fresco depicts what is a good and a bad governing. In “Conjurer la peur”, Gaëlle Bourges shows this pictorial masterpiece through the pauses and the movements of nine performers accompanied by her own comment. Between action and description, imagination grows, nourishing a topical and political meaning.
