Three artists open to the world
3 Ms at once: Moroccan Driss El Maloumi, Malian Ballaké Sissoko and Malagasy Rajery. Three exceptional artists, three emblematic plucked string instruments that are rooted in the traditions of three countries where music is lived out each day, but also a shared desire to create together a language interweaving notes and harmonies coming from Southern and Northern Africa. They firstly met in Agadir, then in Antananarivo for some concerts, before recording together a first album with Contrejour and starting touring in Europe, United States and Canada. After continuing for a while their personal careers, they decided to play together again, in Jordi Savall's "The Slave Route" beautiful project. Since then, the three acolytes decided to develop what they left a few years before. The three Ms are back for a brand new adventure!
