The Fellinian humor of the most talented contemporary Italian choreographer. A true delight, so irresistibly smart and self-mockery!
A trip down memory lane. After several solos, in 2010 Ambra Senatore signed with “Passo” her first large format choreography. She remounts this fundamental piece today with the freshness of a vocabulary that has not ceased to bud and branch out since then. A mischievous fiber according to combinations that taunt dance through unattended gestures and delightful irruptions of more theatrical actions. Ambra Senatore claims “the continuous displacement of signification that allows it to become surprising”. With a very refined writing, sometimes “subtly grotesque”, “Passo” fosters a light irony and revives, in a frame fueled by a gamble of entrances and exits, a leitmotif of gestures and postures that are a jingle for the eye
