The infinite, a space of freedom! For his return to the stage, Boris Charmatz frees himself from every constraint.
Since "Aatt enen tionon", his breakthrough 1996 piece, Boris Charmatz has constantly changed our way of looking at art. Having created his entire body of work based on strong physical, spatial, and relational positions, he now turns to challenging the imagination by taking on the infinite. Historical dates, tiny or huge numbers, and musical counts are the starting points for a twirling non-stop dance that seems to be charging toward infinity. To face the infinite is to dance a mathematical and philosophical giddiness, to generate “infinite” freedoms for an exceptional company of dancers.
