Terms and conditions
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the sale of tickets for theatre, dance and music performances offered on the Théâtre de la Ville website.
The purchase of a ticket implies unreserved acceptance of these GTC as well as the specific conditions relating to e-tickets and m-tickets.
Delivery methods
When purchasing tickets, customers can choose their preferred delivery method:
- E-ticket: download to smartphone or print on A4 paper.
- M-ticket: download as an image to smartphone.
- Postal delivery: for orders placed at least 7 days before the performance, free of charge.
Notes:
- E-tickets printed on blank A4 paper, in black and white or colour, must be of legible quality.
- The Théâtre de la Ville accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or misdelivery of tickets sent by post.
Collection of thermal tickets at the box office
Collection is mandatory in the following cases:
- Orders placed less than 7 days before the performance.
- Tickets at individual youth rates (under 30), student rates, D.E. rates or intermittent rates.
- Orders with a residential address outside France.
- Proof of eligibility may be required for reduced-rate tickets. Otherwise, the difference between the reduced rate and the full rate will be charged.
- Each ticket contains a unique barcode corresponding to the order.
- The barcode is checked at the entrance and can only be used once.
- For discounted tickets, proof of eligibility may be requested at the entrance.
Validity
- The ticket is only valid if downloaded or printed correctly.
- Damaged, soiled, illegible or partially printed tickets are considered invalid.
Use
- The ticket is personal, non-exchangeable and non-refundable, except in the event of cancellation of the show.
- Reproduction or duplication is prohibited.
- The ticket must be kept until the end of the event.
Liability
The Théâtre de la Ville is not responsible for the loss, theft or illegal use of the ticket.
Sales and refunds
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except in the event of cancellation of the show.
- Discounted tickets are strictly personal and may not be resold.
- No duplicates will be issued.
Admission to the venues
- Shows start on time: latecomers and children under 3 years of age (except for dedicated shows) may not be admitted.
- Dangerous items are not permitted.
- Smoking, using mobile phones, taking photographs, filming or recording are prohibited.
PERSONAL DATA – INCIDENT MANAGEMENT
Personal data collected during:
- ticket sales,
- incident management,
- decisions to suspend or prohibit access,
- is processed in accordance with the GDPR and applicable regulations.
This data:
- is strictly limited to what is necessary,
- is kept for a period proportionate to the purpose for which it is collected,
- is accessible only to authorised persons.
The rights of access and rectification may be exercised under the conditions provided for by law, subject to the legal obligations of retention necessary for the defence of the interests of the Théâtre de la Ville.
Payment terms, security and confidentiality:
Ticket prices are quoted in euros, inclusive of VAT, and include a £1 booking fee per ticket.
As with other booking methods, there are no booking fees.
Accepted online payment methods:
Credit card only: CB / Visa / MasterCard
- Payment is made in accordance with the general terms and conditions of the PAYBOX payment system.
- All information is protected and encrypted before being transmitted to the processing centre. This security is ensured by the SSL protocol.
- A confirmation email containing the payment receipt is automatically sent to the user.
Transaction security:
The SSL secure server ensures the reliability of e-commerce by encrypting all personal data that is essential for processing orders (address, email, bank details, etc.) at the time of entry. This makes it impossible to read the data during transfers via the internet.
Confidentiality:
In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology and civil liberties, the confidential data transmitted when placing an order is intended exclusively for our internal services.
It will not be sold, marketed or rented to third parties at any time.
