A choreographic and visual tribute to the millennial harmony between nature and men, by the most universally poetic artist in Asia.
Formosa: The Beautiful. Lin Hwai Min places his new piece under the former name of Taïwan, in order to declare his love to its rivers and mountains, to its traditional communities and to its urban dynamism, to the harmony between humans and nature. When the dancers revive a peasant ritual to evoke the cycle of life, ancient times and contemporaneousness are intertwined in a poetic and aerial way.
