An underground memory exploration
Edurne Rubio has a talent for playing with the subjective perception of time and space. In this piece, the members of the audience become speleologists for one night. She will lead them through a guided tour that’s also part of her family history the artist’s father and her two uncles explored the Ojo Guarena , one of the biggest caves in the North of Spain. An underground quest that allowed them to experience a feeling of freedom at a time when freedom was cruelly challenged by Francoism. A peculiar « climate » delicately evoked by Edurne Rubio.
