Six “actors-researchers” scan the Second World War archives and track the “banality of absolute evil”

In a theatre transformed in a meeting room, six “actors-researchers” become successively investigators, historians and Second World War Nazi officials. They examine Hitler’s, Speer’s or Himmler’s “banality of absolute evil” in order to grasp the one of our contemporary ordinary “monsters”. After “Z comme Zigzag”, “Le Petit Z (cf. Deleuze) », Bérangère Jannelle creates « Mélancholia Europea – Une enquête démocratique », as a manufacture of history in the present tense. A tribute to the power of active thought.
