An exceptional concert to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Trio con Brio Copenhagen, one of the most remarkable piano trios on the music scene. After having participated in the complete Beethoven trios at the Abbesses, they now offer us a deep dive into romanticism with the last major chamber music and piano piece by Mendelssohn and the imposing Trio, written by Tchaikovsky in Rome “in memory of a great artist,” his friend Nikolaï Rubinstein. This is also the opportunity to discover the spellbinding Phantasmagoria by the Danish composer Bent Sørensen, dedicated to the trio.
