Bach cantatas and partitas as dance and poetry merge to transform the architecture of a unique site into a bewitching experience.

Bach’s music is now part of María Muñoz and Pep Ramis, part of their DNA, and they have been working on an idea around Bach which has developed in a crescendo. After the fascination of their Goldberg Variations and Well-Tempered Clavier, creating the sublime solo performed by Maria Muñoz, they now have their “Bach Project No. III” which is even more am¬bitious. At each stage, Inventions forges a different fusion of dance and poetry from the distinctive realm of their imagination. Set in Romanesque architecture which itself becomes a striking player, the dancers come together with opera singers and a string quartet. Together they weave the threads of a universe where the spirit of Shakespeare encounters dance atmospheres somewhere between Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Pina Bausch, conjuring up unforgettable images and moods to produce great art.
