PIAZOLLA GENERATIONS

Bandoneonist and composer, Astor Piazzolla has bewitched generations of aficionados of this demanding art. The compositions he wrote in Paris in 1954 are the foundation stones of what he would define as the “tango nuevo.” The music of Astor Piazzolla is captivating, universal, sometimes fiery, sometimes melancholic, and for the musicians, goes hand and hand with this tango revival, the seminal reference.

This music has marked the adolescence of many artists and is rooted in their history. Juanjo Mosalini brings together two generations of musicians who share the knowledge of Piazzolla's work as creator and performer to restore the sounds as closely as possible to his own spirit or to use them as a springboard for a new momentum. Here is an evening to live and share around a common passion.
