Two monstres sacrés of the stage are there every evening, opening the studio door, showing their work for the day, in a ritual somewhere between total discipline and no discipline.
It is unusual to see Israel Galván, the man who builds the very latest in shapes and rhythms, sharing his discoveries with other choreographers. It is even more unusual to see him sharing the time devoted to research with the audience before knowing what can arise from it. By having flamenco in its purest form set against the no-holds-barred universe of Marlene Monteiro Freitas, a mistress of ceremonies both unsettling and exuberant, he has thus created the event. Two worlds meet, each one cultivating a personal radical identity, and this is bound to open artistic doors never imagined before.
