A TRIBUTE TO HEINRICH HEINE
Baritone Günter Haumer from Austria is at ease whether giving a recital or in an opera, and has appeared at major international venues. With pianist Barbara Moser, who is well known to audiences at the Théâtre de la Ville, he will give a recital of Lieder set to verse by one of the finest and symbolic of romantic writers, Heinrich Heine. The duo will be able to explore compositions including some lesser known works as well as classics ranging from Schubert to Strauss. An actor with the Troupe du Théâtre de la Ville will bring an added dimension to the recital set in the world of German romanticism with both music and literature. An original approach Lieder to poems certainly not to be missed.
