Cuerpos Celestes
Laida Azkona Goñi, Txalo Toloza-Fernández
Ouverture de billetterie le 16 mai à 12h00

Could a better life be found on Mars? This piece takes us on a poetic and optimistic voyage through space and time in search of a new kind of humanity, living in harmony with the universe.
Astrophysicist Valentina has lived on Mars for around twenty years. We learn about her and her extraordinary powers in a documentary straight out of the future. She speaks of asteroids, planets, meteorites and other celestial bodies. But above all, she shows us what positive colonisation would look like: in other words, a new world without the mistakes of the past – resource plundering, soil degradation, climate crisis, barbarity – a fresh start in which to create utopia. Full of poetry and humour, this new work by the Chilean-Spanish company Azkona Toloza looks beyond catastrophe, to a better future. The company returns to the Théâtre de la Ville, having previously performed their brilliant Trilogie Pacifico there some years ago.
