OUT OF THE CLASSROOM AND INTO THE WILDS, WILL OUR ADOLESCENT HERO SURVIVE LIFE ON A FARM?
Following on from the success of J’ai trop peur and J’ai trop d’amis, Je suis trop vert is the third and final piece in David Lescot’s hilarious trilogy. Our hero, now in sixth grade and well integrated into school life, faces a new challenge: a school trip to the countryside. Out of his element, he wrestles with rural life, culture shock and an emerging environmental awareness. Je suis trop vert is a work for all ages, infused with the sweetness of childhood. The staging is once again ingenious and playful. The three actors, multitalented, mischievous masters of disguise, emerge from a wooden box, full of surprises and trapdoors. The scene is set for an unexpected encounter between this city kid and a country girl, in a moving and musical performance.
