THE MEMORY OF THE WIND, THE VOICE OF THE ANCESTORS
Founded in 1998 by duduk musician Georgy Minasov, the Dudukner Ensemble has made their mark on the international music scene with their striking, polyphonic Armenian sound, played with a full range of duduks, from soprano to bass. An instrument belonging to a rich tradition, the duduk embodies the soul of Armenia. Following Minasov’s passing in 2020, his grandson, Georgi Minasyan Jr. has taken up the mantel, blending liturgical, medieval and secular Armenian music.
