Les Enfants d’Abraham features the classical guitar, accompanied by its ancestor, the oud, along with Indian and middle eastern flutes and drums. One of the first to bring classical guitar into contemporary music, Liat Cohen is known for her vibrant, delicate, inventive and virtuosic style. She graduated with honours from the Conservatoire de Paris, the Schola Cantorum de Paris and the Alfred Cortot École Normale de Musique de Paris. She was the first classical guitarist to be awarded the Fondation de France’s prestigious Nadia and Lili Boulanger Prize.
