A FATHER LEAVES HIS DAUGHTER WITH THE TASK OF ELUCIDATING HIS STORY. A PRIZE WINNING NOVEL BRILLIANTLY BROUGHT TO THE STAGE.

A story of a melancholic father’s descent into madness, his early, devastating loss and the love that remains. Gwenaëlle Aubry novelised the unfinished manuscript written and left to her by her father. In doing so, she created an ingenious kind of glossary, with entries for James Bond, Dustin Hoffman, Jean-Pierre Léaud, a homeless man, a clown and so many others. A moving family story, brought to life with delicate skill by Sarah Karbasnikoff from the Théâtre de la Ville Company. Alone on stage, she is fragile and devastating as she depicts the tragedy and radiant joys of a life. Simply enchanting.
