THE POWERFUL AGILITY OF A UNIQUE STYLE STRAIGHT FROM CALIFORNIA.
Jacob Jonas began dancing in the street in Santa Monica, a sea-side suburb of Los Angeles. He learned by doing, spending time with other hip-hop dancers, while escaping conflicts at home. His unique energy has been recognised by stars such as Britney Spears, Rosalia and Elton John. Working with these figures gave him the means to create his own works. In 2022, he was diagnosed with cancer and confined to hospital during chemotherapy. Drawing on this personal experience of resilience and healing, he creates works that truly communicate his vital energy to audiences.
