BURLESQUE AND WITHOUT WORDS: A DUO OF METAPHYSICAL CLOWNS IN THE TRUE SPIRIT OF BECKET.
One has a book, the other a broom. Moon-faced and puppet-like, these two clowns play the perennial master and servant, and, as you might guess, the smarter one is not who people expect. They dance, make objects appear, play with theatrical effects, their performance is polished, professional and perfectly entertaining… But then things ramp up and the entire work takes a surprising and even metaphysical turn. Samuel Beckett and Buster Keaton might be in the wings, pulling the strings of this strange story.
