Talents & Violoncelles and Raphaël Pidoux have given free reign to Elie Hackel to create a dialogue between classical and traditional Transylvanian music. With works by Kodály, Bartok and Brahms, he presents the full richness of chamber music, alongside traditional Romani and Romanian sounds. The violin, cello, piano, bratsch (three stringed viola), double bass and cimbalom weave a rich tapestry of sound, drawing on written and oral traditions. A musical odyssey where different styles come together and reinvent themselves on stage.
