WHAT IS LEFT WHEN EVERYTHING FALLS APART? A DIZZYING FABLE AND A MUST SEE FOR TODAY.

A rhinoceros crosses town. Then another. Then another. In a city struck by a strange epidemic, bodies transform, minds waver and little by little, everyone gives in to the unacceptable. With Rhinoceros, Emmanuel Demarcy-Mota and his troupe continue a longterm exploration of this fable of ideological contamination and the temptation of conformism. Alongside fifteen actors, performers Hugues Quester, Valérie Dashwood and Serge Maggiani, embody this slow, tragic, comical metamorphosis with striking physical intensity. Created twenty years ago, and having toured the world, this performance returns today in a new incarnation, with scathing insight. In a world that is continually off balance, one question remains: as the crowd falls, who remains standing? And what remains of us?
