She is a concierge, living out her monotonous days with the certainty of the true love she willingly hides. He is a university professor, who will never know the intense desire within her. A poignant, yet incisive first-person narrative, written without pathos and brought to the stage with great delicacy and feeling by Cécile Garcia Fogel, who embodies this remarkably beautiful and simple character with conviction. Stripped back to the essential, theatre sometimes derives its emotional force from just one or two things: a script, an actress, and nothing more. Tanto poco has that kind of force.
