For Gli Incogniti, the baroque ensemble founded by Amandine Beyer in 2006, is deeply reinventing the interpretation of these timeless works through its constant striving for authenticity. Their recordings of the violin and string concertos BWV 1041 and 1042, so different stylistically, were released on Zig-Zag Territoires to critical acclaim. It will make for a memorable afternoon, with Gli Incogniti and the prodigious violinist who will simultaneously play her violin part and conduct the ensemble.
