An enhanced concert, driven by the songs from her first album « Les Rebords du Monde ».
The show unfolds as a sequence of music, but also original texts and poems: the migration journey of the Atlantic salmon, a grandmother who hung mirrors above doorways… Songs and stories intertwine to humorously and tenderly question our human trajectories, consumption systems, and collective cycles. A funny, hybrid, and unprecedented show, and a perfect opportunity to see how far George Ka can take us.
George Ka made a strong impression with Saigon in 2019, an ode to multiculturalism from her first EP Par Avance (2021), which has amassed several million streams. Since then, she has performed on numerous stages, from renowned festivals to opening acts for Gaël Faye at the Olympia and then at the Zénith in Paris, closing 2024 with two sold-out Parisian shows at Point Éphémère and La Maroquinerie. Beyond music, this collector of stories explores the boundaries of writing. In 2024, she participated in the Printemps des Poètes in China and created 2000 Âmes in Vietnam, a short film and music video blending poetry and cinema. She also collaborates on writing scripts for film and series, expanding her creative field to other forms of expression.
In April 2025, George Ka released her first album, Les Rebords du Monde. This album brings together 11 tracks mixing pop, electronic, and acoustic sounds, with one ambition: “to make our monsters dance with those of others.” Through precise and vivid songwriting, George Ka invites us to explore the world and our inner selves with clarity and hope.
