SIX EXCEPTIONAL PIANISTS COME TOGETHER FOR A DAY DEDICATED TO BACH, WITH A COMPLETE PERFORMANCE OF BOOK I OF THE WELL-TEMPERED CLAVIER.
Bach Day celebrates one of the pinnacles of the keyboard repertoire: The Well-Tempered Clavier, Book I. Preludes and Fugues Nos. 1 to 24 will resound under the fingers of six young pianists who are among the most talented of their generation, all winners of the Artist Diploma from the École Normale de Musique de Paris: Julian Trevelyan, Yedam Kim, Zu-An Shen, Slava Guerchovitch, Ayame Ishise, and Fabrice Bligoud Vestad. In turn, they will bring this monument of Baroque music to life in all its expressive richness, technical demands, and spiritual depth. An exceptional concert that celebrates both Bach's legacy and the future of the piano.
