Focus Irlande

From Midday to 6:30pm, kick off our Focus Irlande with a day of Samhain festivities.

When the days become shorter and winter approaches, Ireland celebrates Samhain, Halloween’s Celtic ancestor. A night of transition when the veil between the our world and the spirit world is at its thinnest. Focus Irlande opens in this mysterious atmosphere, with a unique day of festivities, a kind of a joyful danse macabre. Jigs and modern-day dances, harp, violin, Uilleann pipes, poetry in English, French and Gaelic… Across different spaces, different arts come together to bring us the mystery, whimsy and verve of Ireland.

Featuring: Isabelle Huppert, Stephen Rea, Jean Butler, Louise Mulcahy, Michael Keegan-Dolan, Oona Doherty and many other surprise guests!
